I really want to ride next year in Cape Verde and while I know I will be okay I'm bother about the OH because I really want him to have a go. I am going to bully him into having half a dozen lessons before so that hopefully he can at least trot a little.
In people's experience, if you are not going on a specific horse riding holiday abroad, how accomodating are they for beginners? Ideally I would like us to go for about an hours hack where I can canter and he can just trot. Is this likely to happen? I can only find limited info (link)
