We believe that two horses were stolen from a field near Macclesfield today close to the Staffss/Debys/Cheshire border. A white transit type van was seen at the gate around three o'clock and an hour later the horses were gone and the gate open.
I saw a white van drivenn by two grizzled bearded men of around 50-60 years close to the area, in Staffs by the Tittesworth who I felt were somehow "wrong". They may be perfectly harmless but watch out in case.
It is just possible that the horses have simply escaped. I will update tomorrow.
In the meantime please keep your eyes peeled for a 15 hand PRE (SPANISH) colt 3 years, grey with an Arab face and a magnificent mane. And a small white pony around 11-12 hands. I don't know the age or sex of that one.
