Horses v Cars

Why did the car just keep driving and why didn't anyone do anything to get the horses off the road. :( Hope the horse was ok.
 
That's what I thought, too... according to the video-poster, it escaped w/ minor injuries.

Are those meant to be wild horses? That looks like a small family of horses - coloured dad, solid mum, coloured foal... homozygous stallion???
