I have aquired an increasing number of horses and ponies over the years and i am up to 5 now and a shetland possibly in foal. We moved to a house with land and built my own yard, my dream, however, i have finally had to admit defeat and agree to downsize. My husband is not horsey (wouldn't care if he never set eyes on one ever again!!!) and they are causing major arguments now. I am middle aged always knackered and my daughter willl be going to uni so no more help from her. I work part time (to keep the horses and pay vets bills always seems to be one for something horse,dog, cat) it's all become to much for me and i am devastated.
Two big ones will have to be sold and we are going to look for somewhere with less land maybe 2 acres and sell up here. I can't help feeling lost even though i will still have little ones and a NF x pony. Anyone else downsized and turned out the right thing to do?
