Mr Stinky, aka Quite by Chance or with BSPA affiliated shows, What a Chance (can't change the name on the passport).

Six year old traditional cob and also embarking on some working cob classes where they allow hairies to compete.

Taken going reserve coloured champ (total fluke) at Herts County last year - our first ever go at county for both him and myself.

and I hope to maybe do a few ridden heavy horse classes with Farra who will be six this year if I can find them for general heavies/clydesdales. Her registered name is Sans Peur Suzi. She is still very green and babylike but I hope to start some proper schooling this year with her. Also hope to do a bit of jumping with her as this is her real love - she goes under the jumping name of FarrasawrusRex - she is a bit of a dinosaur - large, clumsy, not too bright, with a big mouth that never stops eating.

Mine aren't really fluffy - being clipped out as they get so hot if worked otherwise.

Roll on warm summer days...... I am supposed to be going to Keysoe this weekend to do coloured and working cob classes, if the roads are clear - I must be daft in the head.

I recently discovered frank's dad won the senior in hand stallion at the royal welsh........................

...... he obviously takes after his mum

This is a good threat to cheer us all up!!

This is my now rising 5yr old coloured mare. I backed her last year and she has been turned away since November due to me having back surgery so i haven't ridden for what feels like forever!!!
frown.gif

This is her in hand at the Bath & West last year. This year i am hoping to get her out under saddle. She did really well in hand last year so hoping she will behave just as well when i am on top!!

And this is her looking a bit more hairy!

I am drooling over your Welsh D stallion...stunning!

I am hoping to do some local working cob classes with my boy this year and see how we get on, previous attempts at showing did not go so well!

Fluffy!

Looking forward to getting my clippers out...

I want to get out and do some coloured classes at local shows with Scooby, and also a bit of clear round jumping (nothing bigger than 2ft for now but still exciting to me!). A lot of people have told me he ought to do quite well as he's nicely marked:

I really don't have a clue about what makes a successful showing horse, but I'm going to have good fun finding out! Especially since his feathers are growing like crazy so come summer he will be a proper traditional hairy!
grin.gif
Need to work on getting him to pick his feet up when he moves though - he wasn't leaving hoof prints in the snow the other day, just long scuffly tram lines (the snow was only a few inches deep!) because he drags his feet so badly!

This is Frenchie, we were supposed to do WH last year butit didn't happen so we're going to fingers crossed give it another go along with some HTs and ODEs

Thanks Equestrian92 - i do love her even tho she nearly ran me over the other day being silly in the snow!
blush.gif

Travers - your boy is stunning too - very smart.

Fihunt - are you going to the Avon & Boarders Spring show - it was at west wilts last year, i am assuming it will be there again this year...

This is Fudge. I will be doing odd coloured, cob and driving type in-hand classes with him again next season and also ridden classes later in the year.
I would love to qualify for C&T or Trailblazers with him.
I'm still toying with hogging and trimming him
laugh.gif

FudgewhilstonboxrestJune2009002.jpg

(yes, I know he's fat and lacking muscle in this pic, he was on box rest when it was taken)

This is Lady Locket, we've competed in Veteran, PB Arab and PB Welsh in-hand classes as I no longer ride her, I'm hoping to get her out showing more often this year and also hoping she will be better behaved
laugh.gif

stinkywellies - I think they've decided not to run the spring show this year! :-( Don't quote me on that though! Otherwise I will be taking her if there's a class for Unreg M&Ms.

Fihunt - i just checked with my friend who is a member and she said it is def not running - apparently it was run a quite big loss last year - shame.
frown.gif

Travers - not sure if we are going to bath & west but will let you know if we are, not sure she will be ready for a big county under saddle by the end of May. Will you be competing?
