Ah, how I love my lovely mares' sense of timing.

I had an interview at lunchtime today, regarding work, and went to the yard with what I thought was plenty of time to feed and hay the girls come home shower, have a sandwich and cup of tea, and be on my way.... Oh no, apparently not!!

Some how, last night, they managed to undo some of the electric fence that separates the two of them (meaning I had a heart attack when I first got there and Star was nowhere to be seen!

) so I then had the fun and games of trying to catch Star, whilst Be mugged me for carrots and kept poking Star to make her squeal and stamp her feet (It's a fun game

). The tedious job of putting up new fencing, followed by feeding and haying them; but because of all the mud they'd made worse by farting around together, I wasn't able to get the haylage in the barrow anywhere near the hay hutches and had to lug it all, greatly antagonising my whiplash

All this meant I was late setting home, and I then realised in the car that I had mud all over my hair which meant no way could I go to my interview without washing my hair - therefore forgoing lunch, my interview was late, and I only got home a little while ago, so I have only *just* got something to eat for the first time today!

I have regularly found myself in some similar dilemma - Normally getting slowly redder and redder!!!!
