How do you get them clean? My pony seems to enjoy break-dancing contests in the mud with his fieldmate. Alas for me, fieldmate is bay with no white, whereas mine has a mostly white face...

I have tried brushing the mud off and then scrubbing with a babywipe, but the result is not very satisfactory... He is not wild about getting his face sponged :(

My grey - to the right in my siggy is a total minger and hates having his face cleaned in anyway....

So I firstly brush off as much as possible - he likes his face beign brushed:rolleyes: - then when it is as clean as possible I get some slosh wash or other non-rinse wash in the hottest water possible and the use a flannel. Wring it out and wipe his face over as many times as I can get away with:D

I have one of those: he rolls with his face flat back in the mud and hates his head being groomed.

I brush off what I can and wait until Spring. :(

I have a grey who loves to get muddy (hence my usual username!) and I have a grooming block (dont use this on face though) that works wonders, then a grooming mitt which is microfibre, then on one side has mesh on top for the more stubborn stains and that works well in conjunction with brushing first and baby wipes :)

I do have the Cowboy Magic greenspot remover...but I always thought it had to be rinsed off and pony would pull this face at me ->

Will give it another go! I don't need him snowy show white or anything, just clean and presentable for hunting
