(Also in NL) Sorry for capitals in the post but getting a bit desperate!

Have been trying to get in touch with Horseshoe Farm X-Country course in Dereham for a few days now, no answer and no answer machine.

I'm hoping to go schooling on Sunday, but I'm now slightly worried! My auntie says she has been a few times, got no phone answer and so just turned up. When nobody has been home she has dropped money and a note through the door with her number etc, and nothing has ever been said about it.

I guess what I'm asking is does anybody know if the owners are on holiday etc?

Should I just risk it and turn up?

If I do, and nobody is home - what's a sensible amount of money to leave?

They have no website... and only the one number - Help!!

I think you need to be a bit careful about just turning up and using the course if they are not there - regardless of whether you leave money. Every course I know asks you sign a disclaimer before entering the course to say you are undertaking the activity at your own risk. If something were to happen to you whilst you were on their property and they didn't know about it, it could cause problems with their insurance etc...

Have you tried ringing in the evenings? I know the owner has a job elsewhere...

I would also be wary of just turning up and using the course.

Yeah I've been ringing from like 8 o'clock every morning until 9.30 every day for the past three days! Didn't want to ring any earlier/later as I thought that would be unsociable!

Never tried that at Horseshoe but havent booked Gt. Witchingham for ages and just turn up and its fine! *slapped wrist*!!
Never had to sign a disclaimer or anything so if your friend did it im sure it will be fine
