As above horse was shod a few weeks ago, but my daughter does the majority of the grooming so it want until tonight when picking out ponies hooves that I noticed that the shoe seemed to be touching the frog on one front hoof (pony is only shod fronts) the other also looks close to the frog but doesn't appear to touch. I was thinking of going barefoot but wanted to make some tweaks to his diet first, but besides that Am I right in thinking the shoe shouldn't touch the frog? I'm worried now that he might be uncomfortable.
