Horseware Ireland Newmarket Leg Wraps

Has anyone used them? I just want to know as in the picture they look as though they cover the hock and go all the way down to the coronet which is what i need as my boy has a tendency to move all is bedding round and i want his hock protected and he also gets mud fever, so i want to know if these would be suitable to use on wet legs, or has anyone else got any suggestions, thanks

I've not tried these particular ones, but I have some of the quilted pillow wraps that you can get, which cover from below the hock right down to the coronet, they are really good under stable bandages and I think I paid about £15 for 4 at one of my local tack shops- cant remember the make. I know Premier Equine also do some that are similar!

I'm not sure if the Horseware ones are suitable for use on wet legs as I've not ever seen them in a tack shop -but I do think they have a fleecy inside- however I personally don't like the thought of bandaging damp or wet legs.- Horseware are v helpful so I'm sure they'd be able to let you know if you phoned them.

I've used Thermatex leg wraps which are fab for drying wet legs, and I think theres other makes too which are very similar- maybe something like that would be good?

Oh thanks, well i wouldnt normally bandage wet legs either but i though they looked really nice and thick, I have got some poly pad bandage wraps for my mare but i'd really like to protect his hock and i thought that the horseware ireland ones would work well as it woudn't be tight around the hock but its hard to tell if they are supposed to be that high or it is a small horse in the pic!
