I'm looking to order a new Rhino half-neck Wug for my 14.2 lad. He takes 5'9" and I have had the horse version of this rug before, but noticed the pony version in the same size is quite a lot cheaper - does anyone know what, if any, differences there are in the fit of these two versions? The same photo is used on the advert so I'm a little confused as both come in 5'9" but there must be some difference??
If not, I'm ordering the pony version!!
Thanks :)

The 5ft6 pony Rhino I have is tiny. Horseware rugs tend to be a bit smaller than other makes anyway, but this one really was very small. It was great when my arabs were yearlings though as the fit was perfect on a scraggy youngster. :)

ETA photo.

The following year she fitted into a 'normal' Rhino in 5ft6 and she'd grown a lot by then.

Awwwwww :) Cute pic Faracat!

Thanks both - I thought that might be the case. Bang goes my plan to save a few squiddlies!! Boo. And oops. The reason for the question is that I ordered the wrong rug, so looks like I'd better send it back.

I tried the pony 5'9 on my 14hh and I couldn't even get it close to doing up, it was tiny. She is 5'9 in Shires and 5'6 in PE so there is something very wrong with their sizing!

I've got a second hand one for sale if you're interested - 5.9 horse sized. Worn by my mare last year for a few weeks only. Excellent condition. PM me if you're interested.
