Suspicious vehicle Holmwood Park, Longham
11 September 2006 – informant reports that when bringing horses in a blue/green saloon car drove up the track to yard. Occupants seemed to be looking at the horses in field but when challenged they did not respond. This may have been innocent incident (but worth bearing in mind) Vehicle L365ERU or L635ERU

Incident at Whitesheet – Saturday night 9 September 2006
Late Saturday 9/9 the feral ponies on Whitesheet were out as a) one gate had been stolen and b) the other gate had had the shutting mechanism cut through with bolt cutters. If it hadn't been for a cruising motorist the ponies could have ended up on the main A31 or any of the smaller (darker) side roads and caused at least an accident if not death! If anybody out hacking see any sign of damage to the gates please report it ASAP

I have recently viewed six recovered saddles in Leighton Buzzard station. The most distinctive are shown in the attachment. The other two are just brown GPs. This tack is 'off horse' as the numnahs with it are dirty. It has also been stored for some time.
It should be easily recognisable to the owner; it was seized from somewhere it should not have been. (Photographs can be found on the NFED website www.nfed.co.uk/horsewatch
