It might be worth reminding everyone about guarding our dogs.
On Sunday/Monday 4th/5th February, a Greyhound x Suliki male neutered young dog was stolen from Southridge RSPCA centre, Hertfordshire. Whoever took him came prepared with bolt cutters and cut large holes in two gates ...and that was Alfie gone (he is microchipped)
This week, in the Watford Hertford Obsever, there is a report of two Lurchers been stolen from the Animal Welfare trust in Watford Hertfordshire - one was 4 months old. There they have a system of recording Car number plates and getting everyone to sign in but the no. plates turned out to be false.....
This week at Southridge someone tried to interfere with the CCTV Security system by directing the cameras elsewhere....so something is going on.
It looks as though we have got to be more vigilant than ever when it comes to our dogs!
