Sorry, think I double posted!

Quite sad but I can understand why they are doing it.

But closing the visitor centre will reduce their exposure and possibly limit more donations etc.

If the visitor centre is losing them money all this time why have they kept it open - from their statement they don't need it to raise funds as it is running at a deficit. Personally I wouldn't believe what has been written in the statement, there is a lot more to this than meets the eyes. They have tried to blackmail the council into giving them planning and it has backfired - but no horses are going to suffer, in fact according to their press release they should have done it years ago and now they will have more money to spend on rescue cases. All very very strange.
