Can't do pics on my ipad or I would show a pic of his last cake.
I got the idea from a horsey magazine 2 years ago.
A big round cob loaf specially made at the local bakers. Chop the top off but keep it. Hollow out all the bread (as too much bread isn't good for them).
To fill it we used a scoop of his usual feed and chopped apple and carrot and mixed it all up using hot water to mash the feed. Then when it's cooled put into the loaf, pop the top back on and push carrot sticks into the top as candles.
Always goes down a treat.
