Hi,

I read yesterday the article on HH website - '38 books for every owner and rider' and found it really interesting.

After getting back to riding after a 15 year break I'm finding I'm having to remind myself of lots of things....I couldn't even remember what the Throatlash was called the first time I untacked again :-s
While I have lots of people to ask, the internet is great and I also have a kindle, I still love actually reading a book the old fashioned way!

So what horsey book would you recommend??? Fact or fiction??

Would love to hear peoples opinions :)

Thats one thing I do recall, its the throatLATCH [pronounced lash].
Have a look of Amazon, this one gets variable write ups, but seems to me to be quite comprehensive.

Hi. I'm currently reading through Gillian Higgins Anatomy of Performance and really enjoy it, though it's more about horse anatomy and muscles as how they work together. Very interesting though, and she has another one out which I have read but can't think of it off the top of my head.

If you are into hunting 'In the pink' is a hilarious read!

It's about 2 city girls that give up their careers to hunt with the Ledbury (and to try and find a rich husband if possible!) - it is based on a true story. Can't remember the author but I am sure you can google it if interested.

I'll be having a search on my kindle later, like a good giggle!
