Horsey morning... didnt quite go to plan!!

Decided I would have a morning at the yard... clean tack, ride in the sun ect.

hmm didnt happen!

Get the girl in from the field... appears to be hopping lame - heart sinking feeling and "oh s***" managed to get her to the yard, and she has a massive lump on the inside of her back leg which obviously hurt to walk, vet out, sedation, bute jab and bute for the next few days poor girl , he thinks its an allegic reaction from a sting or bite, only thing that I have used that is different is camrosa :-/

Obviously the bute helped as when I went to check he in the field she managed to walk in the other direction lol!

We have loads of wasps around atm - could have been that ? Or it could have been the Camrosa. Poor girl, hope she gets better soon sm x

We get quite a few wasps, and bee's (theres a bee keeper on site!!) so could well have been!! Seems a bit odd if it was the camrosa, but she did have simular lumps on her stomach last year after having used pig oil and sulpher.... think she lays down and it gets on her tummy from tuckin her legs under! so who knows she is a typical chestnut tb mare it seems!!

She is a lot better after the bute able to wonder around again just hope the lump goes down in the next day or too xx
