I will be in London for a couple of days and of course want to do some horsey shopping!
Any recommendations, particularly for rider shirts, light jackets and vests?
Thanks!

Umm have you not been to London before? There aren't any horsey shops. Unless you would like to go to Harrods and pay ridiculous prices? Harrods is the only place I can think of. I've lived in london and have never come across a proper horsey shop. I can reccomend tonnes just outside of London (surrey), but I've lived in London all my life and afaik there are none.

There is College farm in Finchley which is fine for basics but we had to go further afield for a wider range. A couple of the london based riding schools carry a small range for their clients but london isn't the best place for horsey shopping.

If you're looking for nice sporty shirts, jackets and waistcoats (vests?) rather than specifically riding clothes i.e. jodhs / breeches, there are plenty of clothes shops in London!!!!

Lilywhites used to do horsey stuff, not sure if it still does.

Swaine Adeney on Regent Street I think nr Picadilly Circus. But really, really pricey.

College farm is the best and most reasonably priced. Riders and Squires is nice but you need to take out a mortgage to shop there!
As said above Lilywhites no longer stock equestrian
Decathalon near Canada Water stocks equestrian stuff but not known names

ETA: Hyde Park riding stable have a saddlery, quite small but helpful staff

There are lots of places in Outer London, where you could get a tube to. There's a Joules in Amersham which is on the Met line. Loads of horsey places in Middx and Herts, and Surrey.
