Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Wondering if any mums or dads can recommend a buggy for farm use and shows. We have a bugaboo fox which has been good so far and great around the farm but has to be pulled backwards through our arena as it’s quiet deep . I’m just about to start going to shows again and we use a sling mostly when there but baby won’t sleep in it . Is there such a buggy that will go through sand, high grass and very uneven ground?

It was a while ago now but we used something very similar to the "out and about nipper IV". Its the really big wheels you need to get over poor ground. Our tyres were also seperately infalatable so if you knew you were going to go over soft ground you could let then down a bit then top up with a bicycle pump.

I had a 3 wheel buggy with inflatable wheels. Make sure the front wheels are lockable as that’s what makes it easier over rough ground. Mine gave up the ghost after 12 years and many different homes. It went everywhere from Pc rallies to the getting the cows in. Can’t remember the brand though, sorry x

I would see if you can get your hands on an old out and about nipper. They are certainly not as pretty as your fox but great for off-road. I had one as a yard pram and a cam for non farm use

I have two as GS describes. The horsey version is a Mothercare 3 wheel something or other (Extreme possibly), it cost me 40 quid second hand with all the bits and was immaculate. The main bonus is the chunky inflatable tyres which give a great ride over long grass, muddy grass, stony tracks, etc. I suspect it's easier to push than the narrower tyres like Out n about, Phil + Ted's, etc. It also folds well whereas I often see people having a good wrestle with the big clunky 3 wheel off roaders.
