Wow! Went out for a ride early (6.30 am) this morning as usual and there was a hot air balloon up floating about. It seemed to be carried off in the wind in the other direction to the way we were going, but then it came round the back of me and headed off in the direction we were going!
Now I know my horse is ok with this because we have seen them in the sky before but this one was getting lower and lower ahead of me and looked like it might be trying to land!!!
Well it did!
It started to land a couple of fields away in a dip...so we stopped and watched it go down. I thought my horse might freak as it landed and the balloon collapsed because he was watching it very keenly!
But he was fine but we had to carry on as the support vehicle came down the road and I thought we had better go while the going was good!
So pointless post but I am now officially labelling my horse as just about bomb proof!!!
