ok so i brought my horse in from her paddock and went to pick her hooves but when i touched them they were hot and she did not want me to touch them. every one of them were hot except her front right and she seemed to have a slight limp. So i got the landlord who is in school to become a vet and she came out and looked at her and she said she did not know so she just put some stuff and her legs that she said would cool them down but i seemed to do nothing. do you think i should do and what do you think could have happened?

Get the vet to explain what the condition is? I don't understand how you can of had the vet out to your horse, it be examined and treated and the condition, prognosis and treatment plan not explained to you. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but you need to know what is wrong.

I don't think she's had the vet out yet - think she meant that the landlord looked the horse over.

My horse also had hot back legs yesterday however we are pretty sure the hunt's been around and he's been galloping around in the mud - all of the horses were definitely hyped up.
If your horse is not in any obvious pain I would review the situation in a couple of days and if he's still not better ring the vet. It could be anything from sore shins, abscess, mud fever.............

It could be anything from mud fever to septicaemia, depending on the environment, any previous small wounds, recent treatment. A vet would take a full history and diagnose from there, with or without tests. Don't rely on this landlord, sounds as though she is hardly started on her course. If she isn't yet qualified and has treated your horse, in the UK she would be breaking the law - and that law is there for a good reason.
