Hi all. My pony has had a mega bad time with abscesses g Fb or last two months. Been found for last three weeks but foot intermittently warmer than others. Vet said give it another week as he is sound. Thoughts?

I would say follow vets advice.
IME a warm foot doesn't necessarily mean a problem is brewing.

You had a lot of damage in there to lame him for so long. Repair causes heat, so as long as he's sound I would try (and quite likely fail!) not to worry.

Thank you both. Of course the other issue I now have is getting him to pick it up. He’s had enough of being poked and prodded. Poor boy.
