Hey,
so basically I have a 15.2 mare, I've had her for just over a year and literally nothing has ever gone wrong or happened to her. HOWEVER around 3 days ago I went to pick out her front left leg and she FELL to her knees!!!!..I was so shocked but thought she was just being silly, so picked up her left leg again and evberything was fine!!..then yesterday I was riding her, she seems fine but as I went to get her to canter on the right rein she resisted slightly but did go in the end and then was fine. I then was brushing her off and noticed her right leg front leg is warmer then the left. I'be had to go away for a few days so my friend is looking after her and says that today her leg is still warm but she isnt lame!!..she wasn't turned out today and won't be tomorrow. But she has been out and the fields are I must say horrendiously muddy!!
I'm just panicing as I'm not at home and nothing has ever happened to her before!!
