Hot horse showers

Can't say anything about the product but at one yard I was at we had an electric water heater hand washer in the kitchen & that froze. As with anything of this nature when it freezes the water in it expands & that splits/cracks the internal fittings, connectors, pipes etc & that's the end of it. You turn it on once it's thawed & water sprays out from everywhere.

Any item like this needs to be well insulated or have the facility to be drained when left so that there is no water in it to freeze & do damage. If this item is able to be drained then it could be good. If it can't be then I wouldn't waste my money. :)

I had a look at them a while ago. I decided on getting the heat lamps to dry the horses with instead. The thought of the shower freezing put me off. Anyway i dont mind boiling the kettle when i was them i get extra cups of tea out of it

I may be missing the point, but if you have electricity then why not connect up an electric shower unit? They're a lot cheaper :)

I have one from Showerking as I didn't have electricity at the time I bought it. I'm really pleased with it. It does have a drain facility but they do say to take it indoors when it is likely to freeze which I have done. Our new tack room is insulated so I'm hoping it will be ok left in there but it's so easy to detach and take indoors and it was worth it for having warm water when I need it. That said I don't often wash them when it's freezing so it tended just to come out when needed over the really cold period.
I was previously at a yard which had an electric shower unit fitted in the wash box but that was not detachable and froze and split in the winter. I guess insulation is key.
