One trick I try is to whine about it alot and get cranky...it doens't work but it makes me feel slightly better

Stay indoors and ride early or late i rode lucy at 9 tonight.

Invest in a free standing fan.

Point it in your direction and switch on to most powerful setting.

Sit back and enjoy nice refreshing breeze

Keep an aerosol filled with water with you and keep spraying over face and any other bits you need to cool down!! If you can pop it in a fridge between sprays so much the better. Dogs like it but horsey thinks it's fly spray so dislikes it on site. Boots No7 do a specific product for this which I had earlier this year, the bottle is now being filled up with tap water.
