Hot off the press...... The Meydan OFFICIAL result.

The FEI report says: When the leaderboard calculations were completed at the end of the competition both Belgium and Britain shared eighth place with the same league points, and a lack of clarity in relation to relegation for the ninth-placed team will mean that this issue must be considered by the FEI next week.

Talk about egg on faces!
 
The Irish Times also sstates that the FEI says that due to uncertainty over rules a decision will not be made until next week.
