Any advice on hot spots? I noticed one on Nikkai last weekend, he was constantly licking at it so he has been living in the cone of shame all week, I only take it off for a few mins to let him eat, I've been bathing it with salt water and it is healing up nicely, but a couple of times he's managed a sneaky lick at it and made it bleed, the pics show last night after he'd licked it and this morning, not sure if I should carry on bathing it or just leave it to heal by itself? Or should I speak to my vet in case he needs antibiotics? 🤔 Screenshot_20240523-190900_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20240524-094213_Gallery.jpg

I'd pop him to the vet to be on the safe side. Going forward, I've had quite a lot of success with Botanica cream/spray for healing.
Thank you, I can't get to the vets until next week due to family commitments, but will give them a ring and see what they suggest, I'll look at getting Botanica too

Yes this is just what Nikkai's looked like a few days ago, it's definitely drying out, I noticed in the comments on your post Douxo Pyo shampoo was recommended I do have some so might try washing it with that, I've also ordered Botinca cream as recommended by @CorvusCorax

Brig popped out about 12 one week, I think it must have been environmental, it was crazy! I clipped off the hair surrounding each, wiped with just saline/cotton pads and puffed on athletes foot powder. They’d gone in a few days. It was like magic.
