Just a few days ago "they" were saying we were going to have a cold wet summer.

"They" can't predict the weather accurately for one day in advance, so I'll just take what is thrown at me.

yes agree. lol On the few sunny days that we have had, our fields have been plagued with whopping big black flies that look like a cross between a daddy long legs and a house fly. Have no idea what they are but they are horrid!

Do you mean ones that have big dangly legs/ stingers? If so they're St. Marks flies and very popular with fishermen.

No, seriously, have a good summer, sun in the day and just enough rain at night.

Don't believe a word of it! We were told last year that we were going to have the coldest winter on record and look what happened. I just take each day as it comes with the weather, it's obviously too unpredictable to predict!
