Hot water ideas

Apart from a hot horse shower (hippo or similar). I’ve sometimes used a couple of large water containers, hot water from the tap/kettle at home, and carted them to the yard wrapped in a thermatex rug. I’ve kept water warm this way for a day’s hunting and they also have a warm rug to pop on after a wash down.

I used a storm kettle for a small amount of boiling water.

For hot water to wash off you can buy a couple of the 5l polythene water carriers and put them in a large cool box or bag, they stay hot for hours.

If you're willing to spend money mud daddy is good.

Was thinking about mud daddy. Do you have to fill it at home or does it have a gas bottle attachment to heat the water?

They would be fine for transporting but are useless. We have one. Not enough pressure to even wash legs really. I tend to use a kettle.

Thanks, I've decided to buy some five litre carboids to fill from home, put in and insulated box ( which I already have) and transport to the yard. It's for mane and tail washing.

Karcher do a small portable warm water washer thingy - another dog walker had one the other day and it was very impressive! The mud daddy is useless - there was one at a yard we used to be on and it could only produce a pathetic dribble.
