Has anyone else found their animals stomachs are suffering with this sudden hot weather?

It's gone freezing and wet to overly hot and sunny.

I have 1 horse (yearling) and 1 dog both with runny stomachs and my stomach hasn't been particularly settled either (possibly down to me constantly clearing up runny smelly poo!) Could be just coincidence but my bf who is a farmer said his calves are the same soon as we have hotter than hot weather their stomachs and disturbed, although the heat could play a part on turning the milk in mum cow perhaps?? Although our core temp should always be regular so possibly not!

Just interested to see if anyone else has the same problem?

No, not a problem on any of mine. If any of mine had the runs the first thing I wouldn't be thinking is weather though. Be searching for other reasons. Possibly because I come from much hotter weather. A couple of months ago I had a stomach upset in one of my dogs and vet said just some tummy virus and gave me pastes. She was fine.

Yes my boy got green runny poo all in his tail. Other livery also mentioned her boy was the same. Mine is in a starvation paddock so not due to grass coming through and hers only goes out for about 5 hours a day

Yes, my TB wasn't right last night - over heated and started to show signs of mild colic. I cooled him down with a long shower and he was fine by 9pm and today. Gave me a few anxious hours though. He hadn't had any change to routine and isn't on lush grass as he's a good doer for a TB.
Didn't have runny poo and pooed twice between 6 and 8pm.
When humans get sunstroke, it can often affect our stomachs and make us nauseous or cause diarrhoea.
