Hound Excercise - Blood Hounds

I have a new horse (ISH) from Ireland that I want to take hunting but I am a bit scared as he is a bit of a handful!

I emailed my local Blood Hound hunt (Coakham) asking if I can come out on hound excersise and the nice man has got back to me saying they are going out at 9.30am most mornings and I am welcome to come along - yeeha!

Now .. what do a wear (I don't want to apear a complete numpty!) and do I have to plait?

Will it be a slow day or will there be lots of fast work, and how long will I be out for? any advice apprciated

Ratcatcher is correct and you don't need to plait, just be clean & smart.

My local hunt is just casual clothing, so if I were you I would phone up and check. We are usually out for about an hour, wont be a very fast day.

I have emailed them, I am going on Monday morning, the nice man said it is very casual, they even wear high viz, ohhh I can't wait! :grin:
