We do hound sponsorship- its very popular
£15 and you get a laminated picture of the hound with your name on. We have a folder of hound photos on our supporters club bench at functions so people can pick the one they want or they can check our internet site www.vahsc.org.uk (the hound page is being updated but should be reloaded shortly)

Ours runs a sponsorship day similar to what is described above.
The kennels invited supporters & their families to visit the kennels & select a hound from the laminated pictures which cost £10 each. Afterwards the hounds were brought out & went for a walk with all supporters following on foot so that they could see their hound & get to know them.
On returning to the kennels a bbq was lit & we bought hotdogs & burgers, tea etc.
It was a big success, epecially with children.

We ringfenced the money raised for hound welfare ie vet bills. The other thing was to put a disclaimer at the bottom to say that sponsorship was a contribution to hound welfare and did not transfer any rights of ownership..

So do we. We bought a new boiler last year and paid for the vaccinations this.
