Hounds of heaven???

Anyone else heard this saying in relation to Pink Feet geese? Love these sorts of sayings and had never heard it till my dad was talking to our horse dentist about geese and dad said Pink Feet are called "Hounds of Heaven".

Anyone got any similar sayings?

I think the origin is Celtic but the idea is that the geese are "hounds of heaven in full cry" because of the noise they make as they migrate.

Irish Wolfhounds are also called Hounds of Heaven for some reason
