Hourly Rate for a Groom

Can someone please advise me on this one. I have been offered a couple of hours work and at the current time silly to turn it down, I do have another job but my other job is in catering and weddings that has stopped.
I have been offered £10 and hour, I am on the more mature side and v experienced with BHS qualifications. Its approx 10 min drive from home.

It’s on the higher side for employed and lower side for self employed.

But the more pressing aspect with grooms is what you are expected to achieve in an hour of work. This can range from reasonable to ludicrous depending on who you work for

I have a freelance groom who comes in one day a week and she charges me £10 per hour

Mine is £15 an hour

Seems about right. I employ freelancers to cover my full time staff and I have eight people randomly approach me for work this week so I think work is getting scarce. As it is so close to where you live I would take it.

Jump at it! It might not be a full income but it is something at the moment and who knows when you will need the spare cash!
