Made a post a while back about my rising five year old turning into a Kevin!!!! Well things are looking up, behaving himself a little better now, we are competing dressage at the weekend, hope he behaves lol How are the other Kevins?

I don't have a Kevin but my 7 year old has turned into the "how very dare you!" guy from catherine tate. Tapped him with the stick the other day to get him off leg and my God the "how very dare you" face could not have been more obvious

My share horse is 14 but we call him kevin. He's a big gangly ginger and he is a right grump at times. He's usually not too naughty, just clumsy and daft. But he's fed up with this weather and bit me on the blooming chin the other day! So he's living up to his nickname...

Glad yours is behaving a bit more, maybe he could come and have a word with Osc to let him know how it is?

My delightful rising 5 yo is having some serious "kevin" moments at the moment. (Deciding to spook at things he walks past everyday to and from the field when ridden, doing an almighty buck with my instructor just cos she asked him to do that little bit extra, putting his head up when putting the bridle on and just generally being a bit of a grump if his dinner is late!) I was going to turn him away for a month, but he's now doing some serious work and won't be turned away til he decides to grow up!!

Mind you, everytime we put a stop to one of his tricks, he thinks of another new one! Certainly keeping me on my toes!
I have 2 delinquent toddlers at home, I don't need another 1!

Luckily, my instructor is extremely good with him and is helping me and him through this "blip"..........and the spring grass isn't even through!
Love the little monster really tho!

Ha by rising 6 gelding is such a stropper, if you ask him to work a little harder when schooling he has a tantrum ears back grinds his teeth shakes his head and jumps on the spot.
Also when I go up at night and he wants to be left alone he pulls another strop, horrible faces, swishing tail ect. He never does anything viscous & in the day time is the most people friendly horse, he is literally all over you.

So funny..he just like a typical teenager.
