Definitely not hideous, and has a nice face, but not sure about his back end, just doesn't seem to match up with the front end, could be the way he's standing but looks like his hind legs are turned out.
sorry not my cup of tea but i wouldn't describe him as hideous. I don't think he'd be as good for your mare as the other stallion - the bay one is it Antifaz?
I think the bay has alot more quality, the grey isn't very refined, he's more workmanlike and i think he just looks too heavy in front, as if he hasn't grown into his proper shape yet if you know what i mean.

Do you like him better than Cassano then?

I think he is more workmanlike, he would give you some bone and he is pretty. I like the fact he is short-coupled and he has a nice length of neck. Cassano is v leggy and compared to this one, a little long in the back
I would have this one in my yard tomorrow (I would have Cassano too, but would never be able to afford LOL) - seriously tho, I think this one would throw a very nice, very useful, foal with PF.

also prefer the bay. This boy is nice but not 'stunning' - def. not hideous
stallions should have 'presence' and this boy is just like a 'nice boy next door' rather than 'drool - superstar'

I'm still considering the bay, whom I think is dribblicious
He's miles and miles away though and not officially standing at stud. He'd be a freebie aside from getting PF to him and keeping her in Buenos Aires, and vet's fees and getting her back, which will all add up. This grey is a local boy
I'm with your dad on that one....big head, short neck, upright shoulder, short in forearm (bad) short in cannon (good) long in pastern (bad) etc.....
Sorry, but then I'm probably not keen on that type of horse...
as I probably wouldn't be that keen on your beloved chestnut boy either (although he does have character
But the stallion has a HUGE head, fine neck and short legs. He's like all the bits of several gorgeous horses put together - which confuses me - he is gorgeous but only if you look at one bit at a time. His feet are a bit vertical for my tastes too. Although all of this could just be that he is only 4 and has yet to grow into himself!
If YOU like him, go with it...after all I presume you are intending to breed the foal for yourself?
If you aren't sure, it's always a good idea to ask an expert Stud Manager or the like (show them a photo of your mare, obviously as it's the compatibility in type and conformation that matters).
