How awful am I?!

OH was away the weekend mountain biking in Wales, I was home alone.
It was great! I could spend as much time as I liked at the stables without feeling guilty that he's at home waiting for me.

I don't want to do my OH down - he's wonderful and does 90% of the cooking and cleaning and he doesn't try to make me feel guilty - I just do.

He has his hobby. You have yours. He's away for the weekend doing his thing.

I'd stop the feeling guilty if I were you. A waste of energy. Use the energy to do some nice things with your OH instead.

could you maybe incorperate the mountain biking into horse riding. eg go out for a hack on a brilde way

Ha I have been married 25 years and I love it when my OH goes away for a few days.So don't feel guilty just enjoy it.He probably doesn't feel guilty about leaving you at home when he goes away mountain biking for the weekend.
