i have a lovely year and a half old cob hes a lovely boy at 13hh just curious of how big he’ll get
how big will my 1.5yr old 13hh cob get?

Well, it's hard to know for sure. What size were the cob's parents? An average of the two might help give you an indication. If likely to be around the 15hh mark, I work on the idea that a 2 year old of that sort of size will grow about one hand/4 inches from when they are 2 and that seems to be about right for mine. That worked for my previous youngster (now 10). My current youngster (3 in May) has been the same height (14.2 and a half) since she was 2! She has grown outwards and not yet upwards. She is bum high, so hopefully she will reach her target height this year. People swear by the string test (you can google this). My string test, done at 1 year, said my youngster would be 15.1, but I doubt it. For yours, if I had to guess, I would say he'll make 14.1. Good luck with him.

As Marigold4 says, as a rule of thumb it’s a hand from two years old.

14.2hh give or take a hand either way. But string testing gives you a much better idea.
