HOW BIG WILL YOUNGSTER GROW?

I have just purchased a lovely Quarter Horse x TB, who was measured at 13.1 1/2 at a year old. What are people's views on how big he may grow? He is more QH than TB.

Are QH late developers?

Any views appreciated!!

PS - Mum is 14.1 and Dad is 15.0
 
I'd be more inclined towards the 15HH mark. The typical rule of thumb I've heard on here is whatever the height at 1 year old add up to 2 hands. Not sure of the QH rate of growth but the tb's tend to mature early.
 
Well a friend bought a 4 yo tb x warmblood who was about 15.3, at 6yo he is now 16.1! Warmbloods always mature slowly so there was always the chance of some more growth but we didn't expect 16.1!! Good luck anyway.
