How big would you expect him to mature to?

I know I should probably do the string test, but I always seem to forget when I get to the yard!

So the horse is rising 3 years (in April), standing approximately 16hh.. How tall would you expect him to get?

If it helps he is out of the TB mare by a Warmblood... and still bum high.

None of my WB youngsters are ever bum-high, they've always grown very evenly so this may have a bearing. I have a Hanoverian who will also be 3 in April, she is just over 16hh at the moment and I am expecting her to make 16.2hh-16.3hh mature height.

Oh heck, I have a midget. She will be 3 in June and is currently only 14.2hh and I am 5 foot 10 Her dam is 15.3 hh TB and sire is 16.1 hh WB. We have a yearling who is already 16 hh. He will be 2 in April. I think he will be at least 17.2 hh.

Mine is around 14.2 late foal (November 2010)! So technically rising 4 but looks like a 2 year old tbh!! Massively bum high but in a 6-0 rug going into a 6-3 easily! She should reach 15.2 as her butt is already 15hh and she defo has a lot of growing!
