I can't believe it! My 17 month old is nearly in 5'9 rugs! I'm in shock! I thought she'd only get up to 6' max. She's approx 14.1hh at the mo what's your predictions in height? Sire 16.1hh Dam 14.2hh (I think!) what did yours make from a similar age?
 
Only one of my yearlings is in a rug but he wears a 6'3 and is about the same age as yours. The 6' rug was so tight on him within weeks. Im hoping he makes 17hh as he is aimed at the Hannoverian stallion gradings this time next year. How tall do you want her to make? She sounds a good size already if she is out of a pony dam :)
 
6'3! Crikey, bless growing out of the rug so soon. How tall is yours currently? I don't mind what height she makes as I'm short ish. What do you reckon she might be? Always hard to say or know really!
 
Not really sure how tall he is, maybe 15hh? Here he is beside my 17hh retired old boy and he doesn't look all that small, he really is growing up!



It's so hard to predict how they will level off. But wouldn't think yours would be taller than 16hh out of a 14.2hh dam. Although it may very well surprise you!

Yes she is 6. I am 5ft8. She really takes up the leg. All my tack for her fits my 15.1 as well. I usually think 2 hands at 1 yr and 1 hand at 2 years left to grow.

So 2 hands at a year, so maybe 1.5 hands at a year and a half? That must mean she may get to 15.2/3 ish obv we will never really know but all good fun guessing and seeing what other heights people's were at
 
my mare is 15,2, her mum was 14,2 whp and dad 16hands showjumper. she was a first foal. her full brother (2nd foal) only made 15 hands . I was always told that the first foal is usually smaller but this worked out the other way....so it seems like you will have to wait and see..
