according to Raff's passport, his dad is Geronimo the Hanoverian...

i was also told this when i bought him... apparently Raff was the result of Geronimo escaping and humping a local Polish WB (Wielkopolski)...

however, Raff came from poland... and geronimo lives in canada (according to google)... so, is this possible? would a stallion be shipped across the world to spread his seed? is it possible someone just wrote a random name on his passport?

p.s. can i just add, i don't care about his breeding... i love him regardless, i'm just curious.

Is there a Polish WB stallion called geronimo? Or did the farm pet happen to have the same name?

Thats odd alright, dont know if he stood in Poland at any stage, thoughI would doubt it. Is it definitely the same Geronimo(according to passport)? Who issued the passport?

One way to find out! Once you have an idea who the sire might be you can bloodtest for DNA.
Other than that I guess it must depend on how regulated Polish Horse Registry is.
