I use fine blades and overlap each sweep - very rarely get clipper lines and any that show have blended in after a day or so. I tend to start with the outline of whatever clip I am doing and then clip off the big bits in one steady go

On some horses you just cant get rid off them. My horse gets them, her skin swells when she is being clipped and there is nothing I can do to avoid them. If you put a warm rug on before you clip and keep the horse covered whilst you are clipping then they arent as bad.

if it's heat lines you're on about just make sure you keep the blades cool and give them a break when they get a bit warm - but some horses are just more sensitive than others and you can't always avoid it. They should go down within a day or so.

Same here!!!!! My friend showed me that when you've finished clipping go back over in a diagonal direction and in other directions- it gets rid of them! Any that are left will go within a few days anyway.
