I am moving my very sensitive and special girl to a very large yard over the weekend from a small yard we have been stabled on for almost 5 years.

Our reasons for moving are the need to be more central and that there has been a recent shift in the herd which is causing my sensitive girly to be very unhappy. I have chosen a yard who hold compeitions weekly, clinics monthly and have a good repuation.

I am, however, very nervous- never having been on a large yard i am unsure how my girl will settle and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how i can help make this as relaxing as possible?

She will be in isolation (with another new horse) for around 14 days where she has a paddock and stablel; after this time she will be integrated into her own herd and we will have a stable in the central yard with everybody else.

Any ideas/tips? Shes already on magnesium

Thanks BeFunk :)

Bag up some of her bedding to put in her new stable.Stay with her for as long as possible when shes in her new field and new stable.Keep her usual routine the same as much as possible.Walk her out in hand around the yard when you are out of quarantine and let her get used to all the new sights and sounds... a.magnesium/calmer and can,t think of anything else , just good luck with the move:)
