I am moving my very sensitive and special girl to a very large yard over the weekend from a small yard we have been stabled on for almost 5 years.
Our reasons for moving are the need to be more central and that there has been a recent shift in the herd which is causing my sensitive girly to be very unhappy. I have chosen a yard who hold compeitions weekly, clinics monthly and have a good repuation.
I am, however, very nervous- never having been on a large yard i am unsure how my girl will settle and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how i can help make this as relaxing as possible?
She will be in isolation (with another new horse) for around 14 days where she has a paddock and stablel; after this time she will be integrated into her own herd and we will have a stable in the central yard with everybody else.
Any ideas/tips? Shes already on magnesium
Thanks BeFunk
