How can i work with equine charities?

After reading about the constant influx of cases of horses being neglected i would really like to get involved in helping. I would really like to help by helping out with rescued horses. Any ideas?

Look at volunteering and try and get your foot in the door that way? I had a look at volunteering with the RSPCA and there were loads of opportunities.

I imagine any ones you are intersted in will have a website so contact them via that. I am sure horsey ones will be desparate for help at this time of year and you never know, it could lead to a job longer term.
