Having read a thread this morning about a YO threatening to call the RSPCA on a fellow forumer about how she loaded her horse, this got me thinking.
I took my horse to a friends last year (thought she was a friend), and on the way my boy slipped whilst coming down the ramp, understandably this scared him and he didn't want to go back in the horsebox when it was time to go home. I called my dad out (who is a horseman) and got an extra pair of hands to get him loaded, this not being enough I called out my YO for assistance. After 3 hours of trying to load him this is when I called YO who between him and my dad (two big strong blokes) he went in. Now, I can say that we tried everything to get him in and ended up having a whip on hand. We did not hit him hard but my dad constantly tapped him with it on the bum to annoy him more than anything to get him to want to go in. I know my father and YO would never hit him to hurt him, that is just totally out of order and unacceptable.
Anyway, heard that so called friend that she was back stabbing me, my dad and YO for using force to get him in (I can say that there was nothing 'violent' about the way we got him in, after 3 hours of trying everything).
Now she told all this utter bull ***** to a woman for who she was working with, that just happened to be YO sister ! who at the time didn't know who my 'friend' was talking about.
She then said she was looking for a horsebox and got my YO number from his sister. After backstabbing us all and phoning to borrow his horsebox the 'friend' found out that we had been told everything she said to YO sister. Which goes to show it is a VERY small world and it's best to keep your mouth shut if you have nothing nice to say. This upset us all to hear what ***** she had been telling everyone. She then sent me a very hurtful text so I told her not to contact me or YO again (YO said he didn't want this person anywhere near his yard) and she said I had nothing to do with it and that I should mind my own business, although she was slagging off my dad, me and YO, she then had to cheek to ring him to borrow his horsebox.
So now I am very hurt by what she said about me and the nasty texts, my dad is p!ssed off that she had told utter ***** about the way he treats his horses (which he loves very much) and YO is pissed off that she told cr@p to his sister about the way he treats his liveries horses and how she slagged his livery off (me) and the fact she then phoned him to borrow his horsebox. So there is now a big fued, and all of this over a 45Euros BIT I LENT her and that she never returned when I asked for it back about 10 times. I told her to forget it and keep the bit as it wasn't worth us fighting over, we didn't speak after this, That was 6 months ago.. Do some people have nothing better to do?
I am now contemplating going to give her a good slap like she deserves..
