Found an ad on Horsemart for a nice looking 4 yr old gelding - had apparently been turned away cos owner had no time for it and now she'd decided to sell it. Phoned the woman and spoke about it, she's a fair distance away from us (like 3 hours) so I said I'd phone back once I'd figured out which day we could go down to see it.
Arranged day with OH, tried to call her back but no reply.
In the meantime, I then found same horse on Project Horse!! It apparently has a 'bucking problem'!!
Not once did she mention this when I phoned. I did eventually get her on the phone again last night and asked her about it - she was clearly unimpressed that I'd found the other ad. Needless to say we won't be going to see it.
Am I making a mountain out of a molehill or should she have at least mentioned it on the phone??
