A lazy Sunday so started off making a grooming mitt for my daughters grooming kit. We then went onto making our own saddle soap and finished off the evening making stud muffins that would make Uncle Jimmy proud:) Carrot and molasses flavour - Yummy

hi well done must ask how do you make saddle soap?
i would be very interested in the recipie

Homemade Saddle Soap
2 bars of glycerin soap
¼ cup milk
1/3 cup Leather Conditioner

Boiled it all up in an old saucepan stirring lots.

I'm not sure how to measure cups so I just judged it with my eye.
Put it in the freezer and it goes solid in less than half an hour. My boots were lovely after I tried it out on them.

1 cup dry oatmeal

1 cup flour

1 cut chopped carrots

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1⁄4 cup molasses
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Method; Chop the carrots. Mix in the oatmeal, salt flour and sugar. Mix in the chopped carrots. Stir in two teaspoons of vegetable oil. Pour in the molasses Stir until everything is mixed together. Form into small balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Put in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Sorry it's in US - I just judge things by eye anyway:D
