How cold before you use exercise sheets?

Can't decide when I should start using an exercise sheet on Patches. It's only 4 degrees here at the moment and she's fully clipped.

Just about to go for a hack. Would you use one or not? Hack on the roads, mostly at walk.

If only walk, small amount of trot then yes. Schooling harder work then no. I've not used one yet on my lad who is clipped out but it has got colder this week

We had our first frost last night and there's not a cloud in the sky. It was -0.6 at 6am.

Warming up but still feels rather chilly. Put it this way, I shall be riding in Rimfrosts and a coat for the first time this year.

i would wear one now if hes is fully clipped and you are walking

I never do on the hunters with a full clip they don't get to wear one out hunting so they don't for hacking! (cruel mummy) They have to toughen up & bear it!

I use a fleece one on mine now. But it's the cut away type so I can take it off whilst still on if need be.
