How cold would you..

How cold would you turn a clipped horse out without a rug? ( Rubbish way of asking the question!) My mare is fully clipped - when i clipped her i hot towelled her to make her more comfy as we dont have the luxury of a hot wash box and solerium anymore but shes VERY itchy - Its sunny in the lovely Midlands and thinking about turning her out for half an hour with no rug to have a roll itch and buck - Opinions?

No problems with 30 minutes, but might leave it to a little later when the sun is warmer.

for 15-30 mins or so just to roll and stuff whenever

When mines clipped I always try & give her 10mins without a rug for a good roll. Depending on the individual & the weather, I'd happily leave for up to 30mins, but only while I was around to check they were ok & enjoying a bit of sun.

Thanks for the replies!! She did go out for her 20 mins earlier and loved it..But I now have one very happy, muddy pony!!
